About Me
I’m a writer, producer, and director who works primarily in documentary film. I’m drawn to stories about people—especially those who choose their own path, even when it’s uncertain. My work focuses on the resilience, quiet bravery, and lived experiences of individuals who often go unseen or unheard.
In The Exit Plan, I followed Jeff, an educator who left stability behind to open a custom motorcycle shop. His story is about choosing fulfillment over predictability, and the courage it takes to do so. In Being Dau, I was honored to help my friend share his journey from a refugee camp in Kenya to becoming the first in his family to earn a college degree. His story speaks to generational hope, identity, and the strength that can rise from difficult beginnings.
Nature has always been a grounding force in my life. It offers clarity, perspective, and a kind of quiet honesty that I return to both personally and creatively. I’m drawn to the way landscapes hold stories of their own—slow, patient, and enduring. Time spent outdoors reminds me to approach filmmaking the same way: with openness, attention, and respect for the moment as it unfolds.
At the heart of everything I make is a desire to connect—to create films that hold compassion, curiosity, and the belief that every person’s story matters.
